Scola is supposedly on his way in. Javtokas won't be coming in next season.

yeah i was just saying in another thread how we're building a triple a club overseas. when these guys get here (if they ever do) they'll either be ready, or be let go.

Javtokas might come in a year or two. He might never come if his injuries hold him back. If he didn't ride that motorcycle, he'd be here already.

Spurs are so far ahead of the curve its almost comical now. They have a gang of players out there developing in Europe ... while having a Championship team on the court.

What's funny is that Mahinmi and Sanikidze play in the same league in which Paris Basket Racing is in. PBR is partially owned by Tony Parker. JUUOT said that Karaulov might be coming to that league too.

Also of note is that under the new CBA, teams will be able to assign players to the NBDL from their roster. So the Spurs could have a couple prospects on 'farm teams' here in the US as well next season.

Here is an article on this written a couple of weeks ago. Since that time, PBR has appealed the decision and is fighting hard to keep the club playing in the Pro A league. There was apparently some mismanagement of the finances, even after Fleischer and Parker bought in.

Future of Parisian basketball is unclear which is not good news for French sport in general. Landing the 2012 Olympic Games or hosting a NBA event would be easier if basketball is well represented in the French capital.
