I have to agree. It's that sugary taste.

Freddy's with the cheese sauce.

Hell no.

Burger King (when they're at their best) and Dairy Queen. Stop overthinking this, fuckers

Wingstop and I also like the curly fries at Jack in the box. I can also eat a few baskets of fries at Red Robbin.

It's a tie between Wingstop and Chester's. Both have that soaked in sugar water yumness.

Freddy's has great fries but haven't had the sauce. McDonald's is up there too. :)

Dairy Queen has very underrated fries

Braums are really good when they don't undercook them.

In-and-Out animal style are great for specialty fries.

This isn't my answer, but Rally's is at least worth mentioning.

Also there's a place here called Fat Hen that has fries with truffle oil and Parmesan that are amazing.

Those are good, so are Contigo's. Probably my favorite in Austin but I did have Hopdoddy recently and liked it a lot.

Phoenix Saloon (New Braunfels)sweet potato wedges. You won't want factory fries any more.

dairy treat in victoria. you dip them in your malt/shake and it's orgasmic.

dont hate but chick-fil-a waffle fries

whataburger's fries arent great on their own, but for some reason they work perfectly with the burger. fancy ketchup especially.

LOL...

This is a unproductive thread if you ask me. There is no consistency any more these days. One Dairy Queen for example may have the best fries someone ever had, just to go to another and be sorely disappointed.
