Making the playoffs would be a disaster, Blazers need lottery talent to put around Lillard and Aldridge. They are two great pieces, one more along with solid players like Batum and Matthews and maybe they could become a contender.

Other option is probably best which is to blow it up completely by trading Aldridge for talent + picks. Maybe they'll wait for a stronger draft to do that, 2013 is supposed to be weak
