I'm probably forgetting some Robosack years, but Mark Sanchez's 2012 campaign is the stuff of legend.

it's so rare that a qb that bad can start so many games.

On any other team Sanchez would have been benched.

Sanchez has finished four games with a total quarterback rating lower than 7 this year.

Lol

Most quarterbacks that suck as bad as Sanchez has this year don't get to start 14 games lol...so this ones tough.

The cardinals Qb situation has been historically shitty this year

Jawalrus started 12 in 2009.

49% completion rate. 3 tds 11 ints. Qb rating of 50.

Ryan Leaf's rookie season is still absurdly bad, rookie or not.

Played in 10 games (started 9)

2 TDs, 15 INTs, 45% Completion. QB Rating of 39 :lol

Is he still breaking into homes and taking crystal meth?

DD

Ryan Leaf still has the best statline of alltime in a game iirc...if somebody could post his chiefs game #'s it would be appreciated :lol

I think he was like 1 of 15 for 5 yards, 0 TDs and 2 interceptions

When I went to look them up I'm surprised how not horrible Sanchez's numbers looked. 13 touchdowns and 17 picks. Yes, that's really fuckin bad, but not historically bad.

Ryan Leaf seen in Vegas on many many occasions.
Also he got a hefty signing bonus (for the time).

My contention is that Vegas owned him all along and in addition to sucking he threw a lot of crap on purpose. Obvious addictive personality with money combined with Vegas/Mafias ability to seek and find a mark. Not the 1st athlete and certainly not the last to be owned by gambling overlords.

Combined with suck ass Charger organization and you've got a winner.
Shoot i wonder if Spanos is into Vegas for large. Would explain a lot.

How does Tebow go 7-4 last year and win a playoff game yet Sanchez can be that awful all year and he never gets even one chance to start? Last night the game was winnable with 5 min to play in the 4th and Rex just let Sanchez go out there and throw another pic and fumble the ball to end the game.. Insane..

It was clearly the lack of prayer in Rex Ryan's schools.

:cry Between Tebow and the disaster of Bible Kemp in LA, it's been a shitty sports year for believers :cry

The cardinals Qb situation has been historically shitty this year

The 2011 and 2013 Cardinals QB situations found them starting Derek Anderson, Kevin Kolb as their veteran leaders, and three rookies in 5th-round Skelton, 6th-round Lindley, and undrafted Max Hall.

One player won't have the cumulative stats like a Sanchez this season, but you'd be hard pressed to find worse combined stats, win/loss totals, or hopeful situation than AZ.

Also hilarious, take away both New England games and these are his numbers

175-341, 51.3%, 2049 YDS, 11 TD, 15 INT

his completion percentage goes from 54.8 to 51.3, his yards per attempt go from 6.4 to 6.0, yards per game drop from 191.3 to 170.7, and QB rating falls from 67.9 to 62.3......That's how awful the NE defense is.

Max Hall was easily the worst player I've seen attempt to play QB in the NFL. The fact Jizzenhunt thought he was worth a shot alone shows how clueless he is at judging talent.

The fact so many people in Phoenix still think Max Hall is a starting caliber QB in the NFL also shows how hopeless pro sports are in this state. The fans are clueless retards who have no idea what they should want to see.

Yeah. He used the powers vested to him by his magic underwear to fumble the ball at the goal line for a touchdown.

His stats last year were actually decent...losing Holmes and Keller definitely hurt.

He's not a franchise Qb but I don't think he's the complete embarrasent he's been this year

Methinks people are underestimating the mileage you can get out of the assfumble. It's on par with Canseco's head catch and every other thing Javale McGee does on the court.

Even though Parcells left that team in shambles (like he does to every team), he solidified HOF status by getting that dogshit 2003 Cowboys team to the playoffs.

He left them pretty loaded with a lot of relatively young talent on defense (Ware, Spears, Canty, Ratliff, Hatcher) and with by far the best they had at QB since Aikman. If Jerry Jones backed off and let Parcells do his thing the Cowboys would have been superbowl contenders the last few years and probably made 1-2.

To be fair, we have the advantage of knowing that throwing 2 screen passes and a QB sneak would produce a better statline. :lol

I can't defend the poor play of Sanchez, but the organization hasn't done much to help him be successful.

Interesting comparison of career stats

Mark Sanchez: 1,832 passes, 1,011 complete, 55.2, 11,887 yards, 68 TD, 68 INT, 72.0 Rat

Eli Manning: 1,805 passes, 987 complete, 54.7, 11,385 yards, 77 TD, 64 INT, 73.4 Rat

In 1974 the three QBs that started for the Atlanta Falcons combined to complete 44.9 percent of their passes for 4 touchdowns and 31 interceptions. Even in those days before the rules changes to open up the passing game those are surreal numbers.

Parcells was an excellent draft coach, its unfortunate that the roster he inherited had Drew Bledsoe and Vinny Testaverde as starting QB.

Not really that interesting. When Eli began his career, through the mistakes and mind boggling redzone picks he used to throw, he was at least showing flashes. Sanchez hasn't done anything except show how soft and fragile his mind set is.

But they surrounded Eli with talented receivers and didn't bring in someone like Tebow.

Outside of Burress who was playing on one ankle Eli's receivers were pretty pedestrian in 2007 when he won his first superbowl.
