cool, so when is Mayo helping the Mavs win a title? And why are you bitching about his contract?

He's asking for the bank this summer.

He's the only reason this team isn't Wizards level bad. He's clearly not a #1 option but as a #2 behind Dirk I think he'd be terrific. I'd love to see you name a better option.

Name a better option.
Paul and Howard still on the market. Howard might not even return to LA because of Kobe alone.
Iguodala is someone the Mavs would want as well

They aren't coming to Dallas. Name a better option that isn't a pipe dream.

Paul's definitely resigning with the Clips. The reason he turned down an extension is because he'll get less money.
Howard... I think he would resign with the Lakers but only if the FO tells him he can monkeyball all he wants.

This!
Dirk #1, Mayo #2, Kaman #3 with other guys like Collison, Brand, Marion, Fisher who CAN score on a given night...
Doesn't mean i put them up at the top, but they can be good if they click!

mavs fans are desperate to erect a solid #2 option when the team never had something like a #2 option since dirk joined this team. the german allah is so great you simply can't find someone who comes nearly as good, at least in terms of scoring that's the case. the prime finley might be the closest #2 option next dirk but you also got the likes of stackhouse and smokey to contend for that place, dirk is the true god and i dont see no one else on mavs squad that you can count on tbh. just random guys who can shoot lights out on a given night but none of them gives u consistent numbers of points like dirk does imho

Btw Dirk's knee is going to finish him for good. You can stick a fork in him. He's done.
