pelicans somehow put up a good fight tonight though. spurs once had a 14pt lead in the 4th and there were only 4pts left between the two teams when pop called the timeout. i know spurs ain't playing this way when shit really matters but new orleans deserved credit for preventing this game going garbage time too soon imho. spurs thought they had the game bagged in the 3rd qtr and the hornets almost made them pay. moreover, spurs paint is weak as shit when duncan rests which's gonna turn out to be costly come playoffs tbh
