01:

A.I. 32.9 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 6.1 APG, 2.4 SPG, 2.9 TO, 48% TS (lol TS. Bullshit stat, but I'll humor you)

Kirby: 29.4 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 6.1 APG, 1.5 SPG, 3.2 TO, 55.5% TS

Iverson wins three categories, Kirby wins two, and they tie in assists.

"Per game" stats suggest A.I. had a better run.

:lol per game stats

= Wilt is the GOAT, Monta is the #2

No it isn't better. 48% TS is horrible.

ANd how is TS% bullshit? The best measurement for effieincy imo

AI vs Kobe... That's a solid comparison, tbh... that it was brought up on a night when Kirby fires up 41 shots is purely coincidental, I'm sure.

Yes, now explain to me why Laker fan counts 5 rings from the 40s and 50s, before LA stole the team from Minneapolis, to their ring total.

Because its a fucking franchise of the NBA u dumbass. its about the team.. like it matters anyway..

they have more rings than the state of texas has with all its teams.. are you guys really stooping so low to take away the Minneapolis rings??

jesus

It's like the Clippers with their 13 rings from their Boston days

No it isn't.

Doesn't take into consideration missed shots, which can lead to fast breaks and prevent your defense from getting set. If you watched basketball at all, you'd know teams tend to score quite a bit more after a missed shot than a made one.

Spin it how you want, but 24 points on 8-24 shooting is not "equal" to 24 points on 12-20 shooting in an actual real world game.

Why do you think Jumpshooting/3 point shooting teams are traditionally some of the worst defensively?

That's not how TS works, unless that 12-20 guy shot 0-10 from the FT line, he is going to have a higher TS% than 8-24

I realize it's always good fun to laugh at a 41 shot game out of Kobe, but i really have no issue with it. Nash was relucant to shoot most of the night (first game back so that's natural), Gasol was being his usual vag self, and outside of that the only players who would put up a shot were scrubs like Duhon and Meeks who had no business throwing up some of the garbage they did. Sorry but if the choice is between Kobe jacking up a questionable shot or some other scrub, i'll go with Kobe every time.

Meant 12-24, giving both players a 50% TS.

What is the 3PTM/A and FT/A?

Neither player shot any free-throws.

3 point attempts don't matter. Both players scored a point-per-shot, which is a 50% TS.

Agree to a point, but 40 shots is a bit too much

^ that's it and that's all....

but Imma talk my shit too...to all the spur and laker fan faggots whining about Kobe's shot attempts...please just STFU...

Kobe's 34 yrs old and balling, defending, hustling and giving it to these young niggas even at this stage of his career....he's running and getting his shots in the flow of the game...Dwight in constant foul trouble, Nash first game back, Pau still being Pau...fuck you clowns yall don't know what the fuck yall talking bout...in my view anyway Kobe can shoot as many times as he feels like it given what he gives back to this team...I'd rather see him take the shot anyway...there are two things we're trying to accomplish...1.) win his 6th title and 2.) pass Wilt and MJ is scoring...if yall can't appreciate that then Fuck Off...
