I had one ship where i had 2 insect dudes and transporter and upgraded sensors. Turns out you get better loot if you eliminate the enemies crew

Very good game. I got it on the sale and just started playing some of it. I got to watch it though this kind of game can be a time killer.

Awesome game. Just started so I'm playing on easy. The second ship you unlock(one with drones) is good - I had
a combo going of defensive drone+2 offensive drones that was wrecking shit up. I was invinsible.

Until the mantis teleported to my ship....

Yeah, you have to build up a decent crew and rotate them in and out of sickbay while you're fighting.

I never fight intruders, upgrading doors is usually one of the first things I do, so I can just suffocate them

so I had that drone ship too, and I lucked into a bunch of great stuff early in one game, things were going so well that, before going into the 8th section, I saved, exited, and figured I'd dwell on it for a while. next day I fire it up for the final battle(s) . first fight, should have been relative easy, but since I had restarted, autofire reset to off, and I was oblivious, focusing on intruders and fires and repairs, then finally I looked up, to see that my weapons had only fired once and I was doomed...

I beat the game on easy.

Final weapons were an Ion II, a hermes missile, a burst laser II, and a defense drone II (shoots down incoming missiles).

Just as an FYI, the end boss is a lot harder than you're anticipating. :P

I got it a few days ago too and just beat it on easy tonight. Pretty fun use of 10 bucks.

Solid game with old school feel. I love it! It is frustrating, but any game worth its salt is at some point. I have beaten this game 3 times. Twice on easy and once on normal.
