Ginobili is perfect compliment to Dirk but no way the Spurs help the Mavs with this move.

deal weakens both teams imho. mavs would feel rather deprived at PG and even though that nigga blair would be perfect backup for dirk, they would have no size in the frontline with either brand or blair taking considerable minutes as the backup C. as to them spurs, they already have sufficient talents in the backcourt so they don't really want the service of an extra guard, and neither of them would be enough of a replacement for manu imho. kaman would be a slight upgrade over splitter but it ain't worth losing 1/3 of their big 3 and millions of fans from argentina

Isn't Manu pretty much a PG these days? Seems like he gets more assists than points. Kaman is a brutal signing, Bernard James or Wright can easily take his spot with the way the NBA is played today.

But yeah from SA's point of view it doesn't make sense to get rid of a guy who sells merchandise and is still a top tier playmaker at 35. After OJ Mayo's game against the Thunder, his stock value has considerably dropped.

Fuck that.

Kaman is lazy, Roddy is stupid and Mayo is too inconsistent, not worth giving away Manu to let those guys hurt the team.

We need Manu's 5 turnovers a game to stay competitive. That said, I don't see him getting traded. He's pretty much teflon right now, unless he wants to go. He's got a huge following and sells tickets in cities with a large Latino population. No new faces like Kaman, Roddy or OJ would do that and ticket sales are really all that matter.

Spurs an Mavs will never deal with each other no matter if it makes money sense! Cuban already said no one with ties with the Spurs wanna help him. So I doubt he'd help the Spurs for any reason.

lol, no. Spurs are going to stick with players they already have, unless there is some huge opportunity to grab young all-star level big in salary dump move.
