Rick's the kind of coach where you have to get him an adequate roster and he'll take it as far as he can. He doesn't need a 2004 Lakers roster but complimentary players like Chandler, Peja, D-Steve, and Barea he made look legit. The Mavs have a bunch of scorers who don't compliment each other.

cuban just took the gamble on DH and deron only to get double fucked tbh. even the pre-injury DH wouldn't have helped the mavs more than TC did, deron is overrated and wouldn't be a good fit for them mavs even if he signed with them despite him being a dallas homeboy
