I never post in this part of the forum but thought Id just mention the Lakers retiring Jamaal Wilkes jersey yesterday. The guy was always a class act and a "noble foe" of the Spurs and had a super smooth game, like Iceman, Dr J or Clyde the Glide. He also had the coolest, strangest way of shooting free throws. Lots of videos on youtube, this one is a good example:

Congrats Jamaal on an excellent career.

Very classy of you. I only caught the tail end of his career but a great scorer solid all around player and pretty humble. If you watch Magic's breakout Finals game in 1980 ...Wilkes was almost as good. Props to #52

Had 37 in that Game 6, IIRC.

Silk also won a title with the '75 Warriors. At one point that team had Silk, Phil Smith, Gus Williams and Robert Parish. They let a lot of talent slip away without getting much at all in return.

does it mean clippers also retired his jersey simultanously since they share the same homecourt?

I'm just trying to figure out where they will hang that Pacific Division Banner .... might be right next to the Sparks Banners.
