Its almst an end of an era for one of the greatest players that has ever picked up a basketball.
When it's all said and done, the person who will follow will have BIG shoes to fill. The Lakers with their hollywood style will need someone that will bring tickets AND win a championship. Obviously Howard is not a franchise player. He is someone you need as a part of a championship but not a face of the franchise. Kobe, no matter if you like him or hate, has this aura of greatness with him. He doesn't give a **** what you think, and he will make you look like a clown on the floor. Dwight would rather be the clown himself.
Will the Lakers be able to find someone that would make the Lakers forget the Kobe-era? Or will the Lakers always reminisce the days where Kobe took home the scoring title and the finals MVP as well.
It will certainly be a tough act to follow.
