Well I get the point. But that club is too large, only a select few teams have been upset in such epic fashion ... IIRC Sonics, Mavs, Spurs? Did I miss anyone?

A past his prime Duncan losing to an 8-seed certainly sucked, but it's nowhere near as embarrassing as being the 11-seed in the heart of one's prime years. LOL being 3 games behind the Clippers in a year when the Clippers had a Clipper season.

How is Kobe still in his prime, and if so that only furthers the Kobe>Duncan argument. Duncan hasn't looked past his prime this season to me in fact he has Been the most consistent NBA center. But nice excuses Kobe missed playoffs and Duncan got Mutomboed ...dem the facts. Sure their casts let them down, but they are the leaders. LOL at the not as emarassing defense ...

He's not talking about this year. He's talking about the 2005 season iirc when Lakers missed the play-offs.

Understandable omission, only a handful of people remember that season.
