The obvious omission is the Rockets who have been playing well, but I just don't think have enough talent...

Oh, and didn't include Miami since they're the obvious favorites...

OKC because they'll be playing 8 on 5 regardless of what team they play.

if not for VDN, I really like that Clippers roster... Jamal can win you or lose you any game...

Thunder: Don't have a ball distributor, won't get past Miami any time soon. Also won't receive any favorable calls against the Heat

Spurs: Aging but are still good in every field of the game

Clippers: Lack half court offense; have to depend on CP3 to be Kobe

Grizzlies: Size but lacking a legitimate #1 option

Knicks: #1 option present, good balance of vets and kids, good balance of D and O

I'll go with the Knicks.

Tbh, Sc:loltty Br:lol:lolks and Erik Sp:lolelstra were "coaching" in the Finals last year....

It's a truth bomb. Your Clippers will fold in the playoffs when it comes to grind it out style basketball.

Neither of which really got in the way of the team and talent. Not sold yet VDN wouldn't manage to screw it up.

You mean like last year when the Clippers beat the "grind-it-out" Grizzlies in 7?

CP3 actually likes to slow it down and meticulously set up the offense, tbh...

Grizzlies don't fucking count. OKC, SA, and MIA do.

Wait maybe 2-3 more years when Griffin gets a jumper and becomes unstoppable.

The 2004 pistons were the last team to have no legitimate go-to-guy and win the title.

In the West it's gonna come down to Oklahoma City and L.A.C. Anyone saying otherwise is delusional.

West is winnable 1 thru 5 imo. Still, no one is taking the crown away from the Heat.

The way some of you people just pick with a blind-eye for Miami to win it all again is fucking insane.

I'll go with the Knicks.

What they need:

Spurs: Healthy/fair called games

Clippers: Monkeyballers have to step up in the playoffs.

Grizzlies: Rudy Gay career ending injury

Knicks: Be better on the defensive end

Clippers could give the Heat some problems, but LeBron will continue to take a wet shit on the Blunder....

I hate the Heat with a passion but come on they have only 1 challenger in the East. Going to be sweep-sweep-6 game series win- NBA Finals for them. Any team in the West will play at least 6-6-6 to get to the NBA Finals, while the Heat are all rested.

It's a wonder how the Thunder continue to stay healthy.

Champ gets the benefit of the doubt. Not to mention that even with Ali Al Harden, your team could barely win a single game in the last Finals. After the Mavs debacle, Heatles have come together. They're not unbeatable, but certainly the favored team.

Son I bet Clay Bennett sold his soul to ElNono to keep Durant and co healthy.

the heat went thru the East 5-6-7 last year, the Thunder 4-5-6, and yet the Heat won the title anyways, dumbfuck.

Here the fucken dumbass forgot that they have CP3, one of the best closers in the game.

CP3 was hobbled and the rest of the Clips roster disappeared. Hell the Spurs routinely left DeAndre Jordan open or sent him to the FT line because he was such a non-factor.

sons the Thunder will be like the Utah Jazz were in the 90's. always good enough to get there and hang around, but not enough heart to win.

Thunder or the Knicks. I'd love to see a shitty team from a small market win the NBA Finals just so it would piss Darth Stern off. I've love to see the Bucks or Kings hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy in June after winning the Finals.

For the Thunder to be the Jazz of the 1990s, OKC has to repeat as Western Conference champs this season. And I think it's an insult to those Stockton-Malone Jazz teams to compare them to this young immature scared Thunder team. Let's be honest, if Jordan hadn't been playing in 1997 and 1998, the Jazz would have beaten the Pacers, Heat, or Knicks in the Finals.
