he played terribly in the first half but completely dominated the second half and won the game

another was called spurs got davids back
david got ejected after showing frustration in a game vs the scottie pippen portland blazers
spurs were down but duncan took over on both sides of the ball in the 4th and won the game comfortably

Shitty defense by the Suns. Duncan was in cheat mode, but the Suns didn't double him. I realize it's a rookie, he's just on a tear, but he's the 1st overall pick and didn't shock the league with his game, then the other big guy could destroy you if you double Tim, but you have to stop the bleeding.

The NBA was at a higher level back then.

Was the Portland game in the 1999-2000 regular season? I remember Tim getting hurt at the end of the reg season.

Pretty amazing that Tim was quietly the best player from 1999 - 2005.
