I was just wondering what his season has been looking like...holy hell, how did we manage to get the top seed two consecutive seasons with this trash playing 30mpg? He can't even get off the bench in GS. :lmao

http://www.nba.com/playerfile/richard_jefferson/

Look at his totals for the last 3 games :lmao :lmao :lmao

Dude used to be a legit player back at the Nets. WTF happened to him? He's only 32.

TBH, Id rather have him than Blair or Bonerama (but only for Blair money!). No idea whats going on with him now, hes still young and not a fat ass.

The Unmentionable One's success was a product of Jason Kidd in his absolute prime.

:lmao I remember in the second season we had him, the first few games he actually played really well (the phoenix game where he hit 4 consecutive threes) I was so high on him. I was like "HEEEELLL YEAH, WE BACK!!!" god I could not have been more wrong, just hope is he happy with luke, and we can move on with this..

RJ is a fkn scrub

seriously his still athletic and can blow pass his man, but the clown decides to sit on the perimeter and do nothing for most of the time

he only shows up against scrub teams, then again his best game is only on par with someone who has a shit game, meaningless stats

frustrating as hell watchin him in a spurs uni...

2001 draft:
- with the 13th pick of the first round, the Houston Rockets select Richard Jefferson
...
- with the 28th and last pick of the first round, the San Antonio Spurs select Tony Parker

:lol

And if anybody needed even more proof that Win Shares is a really crappy stat:

Most Win Shares: P. Gasol (http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/gasolpa01.html) (108.1), T. Parker (http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/parketo01.html) (85.6) and R. Jefferson (http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jefferi01.html) (72.4)

:lol

I wonder if him and Lee have any awkward feelings after RJ "rode him like a donkey" :lmao

The only reason Sean made nice comments about Jefferson on the telecasts is because he attended Arizona too. :lol

Good citizen, good teammate, lousy ballplayer, for the last 4 years. I wonder how it would've turned out if Spurs would have landed their other ex-Nets target, Vince Carter. At least he is still playing meaningful basketball.

"but but but . . . there's no way that a young player like a first or second rounder could do what RJ does or better!" -- people who lost their damn minds

it took 4 years to build a supporting cast capable of supporting the 2008 versions of the big 3 to win a championship. too bad it took that long since duncan has aged quite a bit since then and ginobili might break his nose/arm/foot/leg/hip/back at any given minute. i wonder how fast the spurs could have strung together a bench if they never got you know who and rode the experiment out like a couple of idiots by giving him an extension.

I have to chuckle at the thought that some were convinced it was Pop's fault that HWSNBN sucked.

The sad thing is he's earning a free trip to the playoffs right now while making 10 million a year sitting on the bench.

Jack's been getting a lot of hate around here lately, but I'm still thankful we unloaded HWSNBN.

But it was pop's fault for giving him an extension. A true wtf moment.
