Josh Smith is the perfect complement and the missing link

a line up of Splitter and Duncan, Smith and Leonard at the wings and Parker,

Manu leading the bench, with Diaw, Jackson and Mills and we have a very competitive team....

of course, this is a pipe dream, but hey, anyone CAN dream....

is there any way we can get Josh??

no way, but if we could, it would need Splitter to be traded and Smith would be starting next to Tim at 4.
but, no chance.

he is an incredibly gifted athlete himself, its a pity that he might not win the NBA title

i wonder why he does not get Team USA calls...

Possible, sure. Parker plus Leonard gets it done.

We would have to let go of Splitter in free agency for it to happen, so no thanks.

Not with keeping all of those current Spurs players you named.

Smith is also so completely NOT perfect for this team, it's ridiculous. He's everything wrong with someone who would play for this team.

For the same reason DeMarcus Cousins won't: horrible body language and incessant crying about calls is NOT what you want out there representing your country. The available talent pool is deep enough so that you can leave out the assholes.
