I expected Parker to get screwed by Linsanity but...no TD? Really?

Just how dumb is the average NBA fan?

(Example: Lin has almost TWICE as many votes as Duncan.)

Why the fuck is Garnett getting so much votes? Dude isn't playing great at all.

Though it will be funny seeing two lottery teams(Lakers/Cetics) have two starters on each all star squad

NBA All Star game is a fucking farce. David Stern blows his horn. If the ASG is ever going to really mean something again, fan voting needs to be eliminated.

Not surprised about TD, really. Kevin Durant is Kevin Durant, and deserves it. D-Ho doesn't really deserve it according to his play so far, but has the Lakers massif supporting him. The same could be said about Griffin (though I haven't seen him play much), but the Clippers are playing great ball right now, and also have Los Angeles supporting them.

The chance of Tim beating out those three was probably slim to start out with.

Nonetheless, he'll be picked by the coaches. And he probably won't even like it. :lol

Not too surprising with Duncan. Only three shots to make it and of course Durrant is going. Hard for Duncan to beat out Howard (L.A.) and Blake (L.A.). Not only do they have more people voting, but both teams are on national television all the time, especially the Christmas day games where they get more exposure. Most people don't know the incredible season Tim Duncan is having, and that includes most sports writers.

Not sure why you think that this would happen, what with Yao starting over Shaq every year.

since the designation is backcourt/frontcourt this year, how many players will be fan selected and how many will be chosen by the coaches?

If I'm David Lee, I'm a bit upset. Not even a mention. Him, Parker, and Curry getting screwed in the voting.

I mean MWP, really? Come on. Some dignity.

I'd rather have our aging stars being backhome with their family and loved ones at the all star break. Let that event belong to younger guys, our guys have much more important thing in their mind.

I agree. Lin has had like three or four games where he has really dominated.

Duncan was obviously never going to beat out Durant, Howard or Griffin, but he'll unanimously make it as a coaches selection and so will Parker.

More importantly, is 1st team All-NBA. If things continue at or close to where they're at now, he should unanimously be the 1st team center. None of James, Durant or Anthony, can be reasonably passed off as a center, Howard can't be a serious candidate and though the league is obsessed with M. Gasol and Chandler, they can't seriously consider either for 1st team. 1st team is for 1st ballot Hall-of-Famers (or at least, type talents, such as prime McGrady) and neither of those two come close to that.

Starters: F - Durant, Griffin, C - Howard, G - Bryant, Paul

Bench: F - Lee, Randolph, C - Duncan, M. Gasol, G - Harden, Parker, Westbrook

Dwight-Hey he looks good in LA yellow
Nash- busted leg gets you big votes
D-Will - I've been operating at higher level in my back yard.
Rubio- Give the kid a break
Garnett-There must be a masters game on the program now. Perhaps he could tee off with Lee Trevino & Arnold Palmer

Bynum- If he was still at LA those fans would have him starting on one leg.

Morris, Duhon & Sacre must have just missed out.

Andrew Bynum, a man who injured himself bowling, has more votes than El Contusion.
