Senator Dianne Feinstein,I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government’s right to know what I own. Since it's only a matter of time before someone actually makes this argument, I'll address it now.

Having to register your arms wouldn't take away the right to bear arms at all and does not in any way go against the 2nd amendment. In fact, the part about "well regulated militia" makes a compelling case that registering your arms with the state aligns with the intent of the 2nd amendment.
