No doubt Oregon would have tapped Alabama's ass in the MNC game. Too bad.

Really would've liked to see Oregon/Alabama

Klein....what the fuck are you doing. You need one fucking yard and you dance around like a faggot instead of bruising through the middle as a person of your size should.

this game would have been the NT game had either of these teams have the balls necessary to win

The reality is Oregon's loss to Stanford was much less worse than Bama's loss to Texas A&M. I would have voted Oregon #2, but that's not to say that K-State can't still complete in this game and possibly win.

I hate Bama but they would have shut down Oregon just like Stanford did, tbh.....

Why do people keep talking about Oregon vs. Bama? It would have been Oregon vs. Notre Dame.

Bill_Brasky

Oregon starting to succumb. K State just forces their slow, methodical pace on everyone.

Best drive they had....their offense finally stayed on the field for more than 3 plays. Like I said, Snyder fucked up trying the hard count and cost his shitty kicker 5 yards.

Also, now that I think about it, your post doesn't make sense. KSU was forcing the pace by getting stops and running their slow paced offense. Their strategy is to keep oregon's high powered offense off the field.

Oregon defense really playing well

Been some horrible playcalling/audibles for KSU. Will be shocked if they turn this into a game

Oregon's offense too good. Stanford had better offense and kept them off the field longer.

This is turning into a rout. Oregon could have beaten Bama.

I guess Bill Snyder's decrepit old ass forgot to tell his defense not to run into the endzone after recovering the ball :lmao:lmao:lmao

He's no match for Chip Kelly (like I've said all year)

Chip Kelly's players I'm pretty sure know not to run into their own endzone after recovering the ball :lol

Would have been a better game, for sure, but the one thing that troubles Oregon is physical, dominant, front 7's (and teams that eat clock). On the flip side, the one thing that troubles Bama is a HUNH offense.

Saban is also about a trillion times better of a coach than BS. I think Bama has an edge but you're right, they're more than capable of beating em'.

DUNCANownsKOBE
01-03-2013, 11:15 PM
It would have been Notre Dame vs. Oregon for the 10th time, why do people keep talking about the Bama vs. Oregon hypothetical?

Do any of you guys think Chip Kelly can be successful in the NFL? I don't see it...Would he try to run a similar system? Why doesn't he just stay and win what I think would be an inevitable natty. Are the potential sanctions the only thing that's (maybe) running him off?

I didn't even think about the potential sanctions angle.

IMO he's a great college coach but would be a disaster in the NFL. His system is way too gimmicky. He'd have a great 1st season then would fall off after giving NFL teams a full season of tape to study.

Pretty sure I read that he almost left after last year. He's got a gold standard program where he is and I doubt the potential sanctions would be crippling. Dude should just stay

With King Snyder coaching them, there's no way they'll do things like commit false start penalties to shoot themselves in the face

Only Bill Snyder could have held Barner to an 8 yard run on that play

DUNCANownsKOBE
01-03-2013, 11:39 PM
Great ploy by Bill Snyder to let Barner into the secondary only to be tackled by the safety for a 10+ yard gain.

DUNCANownsKOBE
01-03-2013, 11:40 PM
Using the no huddle is so classless. Bill Snyder would never do it. He's so classy. He's even a better class act than he is a coach.

DUNCANownsKOBE
01-03-2013, 11:42 PM
Barner intentionally slipped on that play because he was so scared of the tackling fundamentals Bill Snyder defenses have. When you're playing Bill Snyder you tackle yourself out of fear.

DUNCANownsKOBE
01-03-2013, 11:43 PM
Bill Snyder has the perfect scheme to block this field goal and then to make sure it doesn't result in a safety where Oregon gets points.

DUNCANownsKOBE
01-03-2013, 11:48 PM
a 3 possession deficit with 2:19 left ain't shit for Bill Snyder

DUNCANownsKOBE
01-03-2013, 11:48 PM
How classy it is to give that Oregon player an interception he'll remember. That player is forever i debt to Bill Snyder.

DUNCANownsKOBE
01-03-2013, 11:50 PM
Those K-State fans leaving are probably starting the line outside where they wait to give Bill Snyder a blow job as gratitude for his outstanding bowl performance tonight.

DUNCANownsKOBE
01-03-2013, 11:52 PM
After getting totally out coached for 3 hours hopefully Chip Kelly took whatever advice Bill Snyder just gave him. He needs it. Badly.

DUNCANownsKOBE
01-03-2013, 11:54 PM
Before Chip Kelly goes to the NFL he should take an assistant coaching job at Kansas State. Being the special teams coordinator for Bill Snyder is the only way he'll reach his potential as a coach.

DUNCANownsKOBE

Hopefully I've paid enough of a tribute to Bill Snyder and he lets me into heaven after I die.

Congratulations to him again for another great bowl performance.

I've been praising him in this thread. He's not just a good coach. He's a legendary coach who just had a legendary performance in the Fiesta Bowl tonight.

Best 6-8 bowl record in CFB history.

Without Snyder they'd do really dumb shit like block a kick and then run it into their own endzone amirite?

FkLA
01-04-2013, 12:43 AM
Yeah lets blame that play on Snyder, thats exactly how he drew it up. Also completely agree that the season KSU had was shit considering theyre loaded with all that JUCO and 3-star talent. :rolleyes
