It's a low-risk signing tbh. If he's healthy, he's still an on-base machine with decent power. They are still looking for that big acquisition, but Berkman is actually an underrated signing. Much better than AJ.

I just hope him and AJ can bring the needed offense and attitude that is expected. Many rangers fans were complaining that there wasn't any tough guys and that Hamilton was to careless. Still hoping somehow we still get Stanton.

I honestly don't think rangers will sign either of them tbqh. They don't seem worthy of a draft pick. Lohse doesnt have great numbers and he would get killed in the AL. Bourns only upside besides defense is his speed but he's already thirty. He has no hitting power whatsoever. I prefer us to start this season like this unless we get Stanton. Possibly Upton.
