Lol I'm typically good with that but I'm on my phone and none of my nba apps nor nba.com are updating the score. Some kind of bug or tech issue. Maybe it's just my phone too

These losses happen. Some nights you can't hit the broad side of a barn. OKC lost. The Clippers will have bad games in the near future too.

Don't have any idea what the hell pop was thinking tonight this game was over as green came in without duncan when we were down what 5 only reason I can think of pop doing this is he wanted to lose this game on purpose.

And Bonner?

The Spurs are better than this though. I'm not sure what's going on but they need to fix it before the Laker game. Winning LAL actually means more to me than losing this one. Although it sucks.

True. But I'm more about the effort we displayed. Truthfully, the Hornets weren't playing that great that the Spurs couldn't capitalize.

I swear to God sometimes this League feels rigged. Think about it, it feels like it all goes towards satisfying the Betting industry. Who in there right mind would bet that the OKC Thunder would lose to Washington? Or that the Spurs would lose to the Pelicans?

gg Spurs...Hornets shot well and wanted to win. Spurs looked uninterested from the start and thought they would get an easy a W tonight. At the end of the day it's a meaningless January regular season NBA game and it's not going to change the Spurs goals.

timtonymanu
01-07-2013, 10:13 PM
Time to throw this game away. Spurs will regroup.

Simply put, they just didn't respect the Hornets tonight which is dumb since the Hornets kept it close both games this season.

Hate giving a game like this away though.

TBH - people have a right to be pissed with this effort. There were no built in excuses. Fully healthy, rested and just didn't compete or play hard. They deserved to be absolutely shredded for this performance and it's inexcusable.

I don't know. I have an issue with the Spurs dropping this one. The team didn't look tired or anything. Lack of focus, terrible rotations, and poor execution were what did it. I don't have a boxscore in front of me so I can't say for sure but I thought that all the guards except Ginobili and maybe Kawhi shot terribly as well. Green and Jax in particular.

The Spurs simply didn't bother showing up mentally. Pop didn't play Duncan at all in the 4th. Strange game.

Everyone seemed like something else was on their mind. The BCS game perhaps? :lol Really weird game. If they were trying their hardest I'd be upset, but it felt like a preseason game out there. If they don't give a fuck, I don't give a fuck.

Would suck if we missed the 1 seed by one game though.

That's dangerous. What happens when you're losing an important playoff game you need to win? That defeatist mentality will take over.

losing series, we have seen it...pop has no issue pulling out the white flag, heroes on the team have no problem padding individual stats b4 team success...that winning mentality, spurs dont have that schtick anymore....

But what makes it more frustrating than anything is the fact that the Thunder also lost to a scrub tonight and we couldn't take advantage in the standings. I fucking hate losing games to fucking scrubs that don't belong to be on the same floor yet pull out a fluke win out of their asses. Oh well, it happens to every elite team each and every year.

With the exception of that game, the Spurs haven't really had a quality come from behind win in the playoffs or a series since probably '07.

so ur happy with 4 rings and last 6 seasons of utter bullshit? still living in the past with those 4 rings and giving everyone a free pass each failed campaigns since 07

that 5th ring we all chasing.....is quickly moving further away into the distance with the same old shit smallball roster

No, I'm with you that it's been disappointing as hell to come away empty handed since '07, especially last season and it sucks knowing we should easily have 6 titles if not for some bad breaks here and there (Manu's foul on Nowitzki is our Bill Buckner moment) and it looks like we're still one trade away from having a real shot at winning it all this year. But no one can ever take away our 4 titles is all I'm saying.
