Indy win with a solid game, 87-77, upper echelon teams having lulls the last few days.

Indiana are big with Hibbert and West, the kind of team that can definitely win games against the Heat in the playoffs.

Indy is elite defensively
they just need someone who can consistently break down defenses and they would be a top 10 offense
they were with granger i believe but still lacked that
if d-will signed with indy they would have been contenders

Numbers are deceiving, LeBron played horrible and pretty much nobody but Wade could hit a shot. Allen played horrible defense and missed open jumpers. Paul George looks like he's improved but haven't seen much of him so may be a fluke. Anyway just a lost on the road to a solid defensive team.

They only scored 87 and shot a lower % than Miami on both FG and 3s (41/42 Miami, 36/41 Indiana respectively). The difference was Indiana out-rebounding Miami by 19, and that won't change with LeBron at the 4. If I were Miami I'd be worried with big teams like Indy and Knicks in the East.

Still overwhelming favourites to come out of the East and deservedly so, but Miami needs to change something.

The Knicks are 27th in rebounding compared to the Pacers who are ranked 3rd.

Miami beat Indy without Bosh last year so they are hardly anything but a 5/6 game series.

:lol no Bosh and they beat them in a series last year, tbh..

:lol regular season teams without star players..

Paul George is nice though, no hate..

Knicks are 27th in rebounding? I'm actually surprised considering the size they can play up front. Probably because they are playing Melo at the 4 a lot of the time, when they played Camby/Chandler up front against us they showed they can rebound, but without the perimeter shooting at the 4 they probably won't be able to score enough to beat Miami even if they are killing them on the boards.

I agree you're still big favourites and should be everyone in the East, but if Indiana and Chicago are throwing two bigs at you and out rebounding you by 20 every game it is by no means a given IMO.

Funnily enough, except for the close out game (in which Indiana only got 36 rebounds anyway) in every game of the Indy vs Miami series the team that won the rebounding won the game.

Lebron rebounded well all series, but it was really the Heat guards who compensated for the loss of Bosh. Chalmers had 11 in Game 5, and Wade had 9 in Game 4 and 10 in Game 6 to close it out.

I was hoping for George Hill to have a good game, but his stats look atrocious, they went with DJ Augustin over him

0-4 5 turnovers in 23 minutes of play. Dunno what's wrong with the dude.

This will be a fun playoff series. Miami will win but with Indy's defense and thier ability to pound the Heat on the glass they will make them work for it.

Miami in 7. The reason they lost the 2-1 lead was because LeBron posted 40/18/9 and Wade somehow always kills them.

He was extremely sick. He left the game early. Kudos to him for even trying

pacers always give us the most matchup problems of any eastern team imho. they have size and play tough D, and don't forget they took us to 7 games in the playoffs last season
