Cleveland and Casspi are on the outs. He does not seem to be in their plans for the future. How about we offer Bonner and Blair for Casspi and Leuer? We are thin at SF and need the help. Cap't Jax can move over and play PF as many have said they would like to see. Leuer could take a trip to the Toros and get acquainted with the system with CJ. Casspi could back up Kawhi and share minutes with Jack. We would be rid of Bonner and Blair, something that almost everyone would be happy to see happen. With Varejao still out, they might want a little insurance in Bonner and Blair for their PF/C position. At 6'9 Casspi has some height that we are missing. At 6'10 Leuer has height we are missing. If we are not going to use Bonner or Blair, then trading them for something we can use is the thing to do.

The Spurs liked him in the past but he's gone a LONG time without ever showing any improvement. He's a tweener forward who just isn't that good of a shooter. Might be a decent reclamation project but he's been stuck in the mud forever.

He might be a nice practice partner for Bonner.

Ok lets trade for Chris Paul and Lebron James. WTF why not? Cant please a single of you folks with any kind of trade.

casspi would be a good side project that could always realize his potential. send someone from the end of the spurs bench and a 2nd rounder. at the very worst, casspi would be another plug and play 3 point shooter. he's always been decent at shooting 3's.

Tbh, I like the inclusion of Leuer. He hasn't done much this season but his skillset would hypothetically fit.

A trade seems difficult to imagine. Spurs don't really need Casspi and Cavs shouldn't be interested in what Spurs have to offer.

Casspi might be more a target this summer when he will be a free agent. If Spurs don't re-sign Jack, Casspi would be an option to back up Leonard.
