tbh, the only way to cutdown on the Lakers' bean dip fanbase is enforce the immigration laws or have a hard cap, though neither look likely.

We as Spursfans shouldn't look at this win and be excited.

This shit was an enbarrassment from tip off. Not only did they Spurs failed to put this guys away even when up by 10+ points in like 5 difference instances but they actually almost loss this game if it wasn't for that Manu 3.

Are people expecticting this abomination of play to hold up in the playoffs? For fucks sake.

I ain't excited. The only saving grace to me is Tim, Gino (praying for health) and Kawhi. the fact we have two huge heroballers on our team in TP and Neal scares the shit out of me. Pop seems too enamored with both of them.

Well, Tim played like shit offensively. Old Man Riverwalk is allowed a bad game every once in a while.

Parker got too excited about Nash guarding him. It's like he had so many options, so many ways he could destroy Nash, that his mind became overloaded and froze. Hence the mental mistakes.

The Lakers were supposedly playing better than they have all year as a team. They actually played like it was a playoff game, while the Spurs were clearly coasting.

So...I'm not that concerned tbh.

Nope.

Finals MVPs. That's how we measure individual performances in the playoffs. And that count is:

Duncan: 3

Kirby: 2

Which I know burns your ass something fierce, since you're more a Kobe fan than Lakers fan.

16>4

So how close were you to becoming a Bulls fan when it looked like Kirby was going to be traded there?

i didn't say anything about deporting non-whites, it's just stupid to have immigration laws for everyone else and then look the other way with illegals. If illegal aliens didn't provide cheap labor, easy votes and steady fanbase for Lakers, they would have to abide by the same rules.

They are when comparing individual players.

Just be content that you lead 16>4. Trying to spin Finals MVPs as if they're meaningless in a player vs. player debate just makes you look like more of fucktard than you already are.

For franchises, yes. If rings are the be all, end all in player comparisons then:

Bryant had a sluggish start offensively and the Lakers fell behind 54-45 at the half.

His first basket came with less than a minute remaining in the first quarter and he closed the half 2 for 6 from the field. Bryant credited his poor shooting to Spurs second-year player Kawhi Leonard.

"It was Kawhi's defense," Bryant said. "He did a good job."

Kawhi is a very good defender, his development and Duncan's renaissance only reasons why I think Spurs have a slim shot at a title.
Im guessing this team is beaten in the WCF though unless they get Clips. I knoe the Clips look to be the better team but I just dont trust them yet ... and can easily see duncan gettingtheir bigs in foul trouble with his foot-work.

Duncan's renaissance is the key, he is struggling the last 3 games and as a result the whole team is suffering. His overall impact on the Spurs is quite underrated imho, without him this squad is nothing special even at his old age.
