looks like the plan to bring in gruden is slowly taking shape.

i don't think he would entertain jerry if he wasn't assured gruden would be hired.

with the exception of his own flesh and blood, monte has served under/beside some great head coaches.
he wouldn't come back to be the defensive coordinator of America's team to work under garrett:vomit:and be a puppet to jerry, would he?

Maybe... One would only hope tbh.

Anything to get rid of Garrett would itself be an upgrade.

:lol at the schedule next year:

Home opponents:

NY Giants
Philadelphia
Washington
Green Bay
Minnesota
St. Louis
Denver
Oakland

Road opponents:

NY Giants
Philadelphia
Washington
Detroit
Chicago
New Orleans
Kansas City
San Diego

Brutal schedule. If things stay as they are, I see this team going 7-9 or 8-8 again (with luck).

This is the 2nd time I've seen someone exaggerate an NFC East schedule (Skins fan in another thread) for 2013. It's really not that bad at all, especially now that RG3 is a big ? going forward.

damn...that away schedule is nasty.

yea i'm all for getting rid of garrett. i hope jerry and gruden are in discussions.

he needs to either come out and say garrett will remain head coach or fire his ass.

no more pussy footing.

but back to kiffin. we don't have the safeties to run the tampa 2 but i'm interested to see how this will work, if he gets hired of course.

Chicago, New Orleans, and NYG are the only hard road games on this schedule--and ALL 3 missed the playoffs. In fact, the only road game the Cowboys have against a 2012-13 playoff team is @Washington--and even they have a grim future. A quasi-competent coach would easily make the playoffs with that sched.

Dallas has no excuse for not being at least 10-6 next year (yeah, you can say that every year I know)...they should be no worse than 6-2 at home and 4-4 on the road. Their 2 hardest home games (Denver, GB) will likely be primetime games, too.

Cowboys schedule isn't all that difficult.

GB, Denver, and @ NO are the only 3 that I'd be shocked if we won.

I'm sure trill will come in and make it a race issue somehow.

With white folk? Yes, you certainly are obsessed with us. I only assume its out of jealousy though, what with us always getting to boss your parents around.....lol

Monte Kiffin had jus been hired per ESPN

this makes firing ryan make a little more sense if it was something coming anyway, but Jerreh what are you going to do about your OC who is also your head coach? All the yards gained in the world doesn't mean shit unless you score points. I don't think the ginger will learn to run the ball effectively out of nowhere.

Word is, Kiffen was the only DC old enough to remember the Cowboy's last playoff win.

1. kiffin is too old.
2. we don't have the personnel for his 4-3.
3. garrett still sucks.
