Belinelli develops into a very reliable role player, might even turn into a decent third option for a contending team.

dumbest move in New Orleans sports history sons.

Does it include trading away Kobe? Considering they are still the Hornets.

no son that was the best move for Charlotte.

keep in mind that without the help from the NBA and sports media then Kobe Bryant would be nothing more than a solid role player at best.... AT BEST.
he was sent to the big market, big name Los Angeles Lakers for one reason and one reason only ... to sell the product (aka NBA). if he had played on the Charlotte Hornets then he would have gone down in history as just another Joe Johnson-like chucker.

Only tibby could make a decent scrub out of belinelli, the guy is really a cancerous player as any. Moving him and signing Gordon was a perfect decision, drafting Rivers was not. People should really stop making decisions based on a few games and start to look what happens in the long run.

it's unfair for players to be said of as cancers when theyre just not being properly used. when you call someone a cancer you mean he makes a terrible impact in the locker room and could possibly destroy the team's chemistry, but belli ain't no one like that imo

it is more meant for D and ball movement. Sometimes certain players can be legit but tend to dribble too much ruining ball movement, and are therefore considered as cancerous.. One perfect example to me is Tyreke Evans. Legit player, can score a lot, can pass, can do anything a sg is supposed to, but still whenever he's on the court, his team struggles. Belinelli has always been another example of that, since he was very young, he was seen as a stud in Italy, they changed completely the structure of their national team (ok a lot was because of old age) to fit his game, he was supposed to be the one that would lift them and yet he did nothing but disappoint them, leading them to an all time low in both interest in the sport and results. His NBA career has been the same, always looking like he could make it but never does, and then when you take your conclusions, you find out you are far worse than you were before having him.
