Eat it, David Stern :lol

I think it's a smart move. This a damn short turnaround, especially when you factor in that the Warriors game was delayed due to the broken rim. Duncan played 32 intense minutes. Trotting him out there tonight was probably not a good idea.

:tu @ Pop for not allowing $250,000 to get in the way of the big picture

haha that's a straight up big fuck you to Stern. Lovin it.

Wander if the maggot will will pull the same shit twice over and hand down more substantial sanctions cause some poor cry baby Hawks fans didnt see the GOAT play. Funny, wise, and a kick in the nuts to Stern by Tim and Pop. Good to see the team wasn't bullied into playing players when they feel its best not to in the long run.

From Yahoo! Sports:

Popovich, asked before the game why Ginobili is with the team though he is expected to miss at least another week with a left hamstring injury, said ''eye candy.''

Pop :lol

I think the main reason Manu went was so he could say all players were at least there if the NBA came after him again :).

I wish somebody in Atlanta would complain or sue the Spurs. It would just bring more light to Stern's reaction to the Heat game.
"I paid top dollar to see Tim play. He's not injured."
Or
"Where's the fine for the Spurs, what difference does it make if it's one player or four being held out. I came to see Duncan play"
Or
"Oh...I get it, Miami fans are more important than Atlanta fans and the game wasn't nationally televised, so who cares who suits up to play."

Hopefully, if it's a nationally televised game Pop does the same thing if it makes sense for the team.
