With the Lakers making the playoffs? 20% chance

Lakers missing the playoffs and Kobe, Nash, MWP are still on the same team?

Hell nah.

95/5. He's not giving up money IMO.

99%.

Guy's a clown, and one things clowns love is the spotlight. I have doubts Howard really cares about "being the man" on a team. If anything, he probably likes having Kobe there to take the blame when things go bad.

Bible Kemp can still have the spotlight in Dallas or Brooklyn and win more games, too....

Has there been a player that gave away money to sign with another team? Good chance he'll stay but after watching Bosh and LeBron take paycuts to play somewhere else, its a possibility.

Not sure if serious..LA, good our bad, most definitely is the most hyped, spotlight place you can play outside of maybe the Knicks and even then LA is clearly ahead. The important factor is money. When Dwight opted in during his ORL stay, that told you all you need to know.

Lebron. Bosh. You answered your own question. Dwight is not cut from that winner's mold.

I look at him and I know deep down he hates playing with Kobe. I guess winning can cure it but if you're on a shitty working environment and your co worker happens to be THE biggest douche, you do all this essential work but the douche somehow still gets all that respect in your workplace because he was the companys best employee 5 years ago. that's got to be annoying. if that was me I'd look for another employer.

About 95%. You don't leave LA for the likes of ATL, Brooklyn, and Dallas tbh.

Too much money and too much shit to do for a porn chasing, bible thumping, wannabe Shaq like Howard tbh.

At this point, who cares? Odds are he'll stay for the money, endorsements, and all them groupie hoes he'll get because he's a Laker.

But until we get younger, more athletic, shore up our transition and perimeter defense, again, who cares if he returns or not?

If they miss the playoffs I'd still put it around 75% he stays put though he'll likely make a big drawn out deal of testing the market before resigning. D'Antoni will get sent packing, they'll probably try to move anyone else (except Kobe, who they probably couldn't move even if they wanted with that price tag) to keep Howard happy. Injuries could be a factor. If he misses much more time with his current rash of them that might get him thinking about his career ending sooner rather than later and chase the money right in front of him, could push the likelihood up above 90%. If he fucks his back up again or blows out a knee or messes up his foot Yao style the Lakers might not immediately jump at the idea of giving him that extra year of max money and then the whole thing is a coin toss.

If they lose to the Bobcats, the quotes will be unbelievable after the game.
