Where were you all season? Oh yeah, Jets fans hide like bitches whenever their team sucks dick.

I can't laugh too hard because the Patriots are pretty much exactly the Spurs of the NFL. Playing well in the regular season only to max out in the Conference Finals hits too close to home.

If we're looking for analogues here, then I think the Ravens are the NFL's Grizzlies. Hard-nosed on both sides of the ball and too scrappy to be counted out.

No team has a bleaker future than the Jets. http://cbschicago.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/original.jpg

if we're looking for NBA analogies, the 49ers are the '96 Bulls

49ers resemble the 1994 Rockets, when the real boss (Jordan/the Giants) took a year off

Would that make the Cowboys the 13 Lakers?

Cowboys were too close to the playoffs. Eagles?

Spurs = Patriots (Went from great defense to great offense, No BS coach, etc, etc)
Lakers = Eagles ("Dream Team" failures)
Ravens = Celtics (Ray Lewis as a likeable KG who has one ring but a long time ago)
Bulls = 49ers (Stout defense, Kaep = DRose)
Thunder = Falcons (KD + Westchuck = JJ + Roddy, will probably win a championship in the next couple seasons)
Mavs = Saints (Brees = Dirk, fluke-ish bad year, have a ring, probably will bounce back strong)

Hopefully Obstructed_View doesn't see this. He gets really angry when people compare the Spurs to the Patriots, but he also likes to give you reach-a-rounds. It'll be a predicament for him.

It seemed like a stretch, but the Niners are the best offensive and defensive team in football... and the only team in NBA history I can remember doing that is the '96 Bulls.

And who took a year off this year in the NFL?!

O_V goes HAM against me semi regularly, tbh....

Cowboys = Suns (America's team, though it will make more sense if Romo asked to be traded to the Eagles [traded to rival bonus points] and then the Cowboys and Eagles both sucking as a result)

Suns don't suck as a result, they would have sucked anyway

You're kidding, right? The Ravens don't have a Rudy Gay to chuck them out of games :lol
