With Lewis, Jameel McClain looked like a legitimate starter. When Lewis was out, he looked like he'll be cut this off-season. It's just the risk they run.

It all depends on Flacco's deal. If they have room, they'll probably keep him and just not re-sign Kruger or Ellerbee. If they don't, then Joe is obviously the bigger priority. I think the chances of Boldin getting cut are extremely low, and the chances of Jones getting cut may have also dropped significantly. I see the money coming from the defense and running game as opposed to receivers.

I think the Browns have a good chance to get better defensively with Horton there now. I think it's going to take a lot of work getting the right pieces in place. Hopefully for the Browns' sake, Horton sticks around long enough to finish the renovations.

The Browns need a front-seven guy that can get to the QB on a consistent basis. Once they get that guy they'll have a chance to be very good. They're definitely quicker and more physical defensively than they've been in past years, they just need to upgrade their pass rush.

I think they were headed in the right direction for sure. I just worry that Horton's going to change the scheme and make them start over. Right now, Cleveland is in the position to draft a pretty good talent near the top of the first. If they stay a 4-3 (which I think they should) and get someone opposite Sheard, it will help.

Pretty good. Nasty, aggressive player. Has the AFC North mentality. It's just unfortunate the Browns traded down to get him and missed on a chance to draft either Aldon Smith or J.J. Watt. It's tough for a guy at Taylor's position to really be an impact player, although they're out there (Ngata.)

That was by design. Best-case scenario is that the blockers tackle and pin the 9ers (literally) for 12 seconds. Even if the refs called the penalties, the game still would have been over.
