He's going to be 36 by next season, but still looks very much determined to win another SB. Will he do it?

No. The dude is 8-7 in his last 15 playoff games. He's slowed down considerably and they don't have the defense they had in their title years.

Well if he plays like dogshit every time a golden opportunity falls in his lap, then no.

Last 2 playoffs he has a bye week, then essentially another one with a really weak opponent, then when the pressure was on he shit the bed horribly.

Everyseason the Pats are right in it and most times than not as the main favorite, he will get his chances. Let's see if he can convert on at least one.

Probably. He will have another great shot next year....he really needs Gronkowski tho.

Probably has 3 more chances at it before he is too old and too far past his prime..

Not unless Gronk carries him to one.

I'm waiting for Avante to chime in, so I can pick the opposite and be correct.

This is the 3rd season in a row where Brady has fallen flat on his face when he ran into a well coached team that knew to jam up the middle of the field and force Brady to either throw it deep/outside. The big reasons behind this is A) having runt receivers who are 6'0" and under as the outside threats makes beating a team by throwing deep and to the outside damn near impossible and B) Brady has never been accurate at throwing deep balls. Getting rid of the one receiver who was enough of a freak and smart enough to be capable of catching Brady's deep balls was a colossal mistake yet people celebrate it as a smart move.

The play was there for several Brady deep pass attempts today but none of them connected for those two reasons. The receivers were too physically inferior and required impeccable accuracy from Brady, while Brady is never someone who's thrown deep balls with impeccable accuracy. The only way Brady wins another superbowl is if New England adds the personnel and he adjusts enough to be able to beat good teams by throwing deep and to the outside.

If belichick doesn't get rid of Welker and replace him with a true #1 outside receiver after getting beat the same way 3 years in a row, then the answer to this question is a definitive no. The trio of gronk, hernandez and ballard (healthy next year) makes it so Welker has to go to the outside more which is where he drops passes and fucks up routes. He's great over the middle but horrible when he has to go outside. Their tight ends and Welker are too easy to defend as the main receiving threats because they all prefer to go over the middle. Lloyd is a nice #2 outside receiving threat but he's not gonna carry an offense when teams jam up the middle of the field like Baltimore did today.

An offense of Jennings and Lloyd on the outside w/ Gronk and Hernandez up the middle would actually spread good defenses out.

the balance of power is so heavily in favor of the NFC, so he definitely will be a contender for the next few years.

Seahawks/Niners/Packers/Falcons are going nowhere. Giants still have a lot of pieces, Redskins are on the rise if RG Knee isn't badly damaged, Panthers have a lot of talent. Vikings are a QB away from being pretty good.

As for AFC... it feels like it's just the Broncos, possibly Steelers if they retool around Big Ben. I feel like this is just great 1 time run by the Ravens.

Ravens will be competing at the top of the AFC for years now because Flacco is elite...
