Before the internet and cell phones people were more into the moment, the situation they were actually in, now we are someplace else.

I think relationships were better. A couple get in a fight, they fight all night long by the phone, no down time to chill out. No tiime to get over it, they left fighting, the next time they see each other they are still fighting, thanks to the cell phone.

The work world is worst off, workers more into the cell phone than their job. Many times while on the job, a guys line is all jacked up, totally backing up, huge mess, as he is yakking on his cell. I would just walk on by, hahahahaha!!!!!

There is good and there is bad. No doubt kids are hearing..."all you do is sit in front of.... But we also have..."should I pick up some crackers and cheese while I'm here?"

One can see that you had no interaction with others pre-internet, as nobody in their right mind would carry on more than a few minutes of conversation with you before walking away. With the internet, and it's message boards, you now have 1,000's of people who give you those same few minutes of interaction, and walk away, but this time because of the internet, you have more that will come and do the same, leading you to believe you are living a life of meaning. It's really sad when you think about it. And before you go to your catch phrase "well what have you done here besides hump legs blah blah blah".......GFY.
