I'm sure they're gonna have a lot of fun in the locker room about Baynes' great debut. :lol

WTF was Green doing? He was like going to shoot it and then just threw it up... doesn't that count against his percentage?

It took 5 seconds for fans to want to hang Baynes
It wasn't a great pass but in all fairness Gary Neal should've caught that. Instead he falls down for no reason and it's 2 points.
I read Tony's lips when he was talking to Ime. He said Bane is new, has no business in there in a pressure situation. Said Pop wouldn't have him in there.

Green will go into Pop's dog house. Nothing he hates more than a meaninigless shot at the buzzer.

Does anyone else find it funny how random NBA players will hug each other at the end of games? I'm not talking about the guys who are abviously friends, but the random hookups like Grizz and VC at the end there... :lmao

One negative I've seen from video of him, he is lazy (slow)/inaccurate with his passing.

No doubt....he did have the "deer in the headlights" look out there. To be expected i guess in his first NBA look.

Good win, playing 5 vs 8 is hard, nobody played more than 30 minutes.

Putting a rookie toplay with 44 secs remaining wasn't a good idea. The aussie was hungry to make his first points in NBA. Ran the court like a rhino and released the ball too early.

\The last 2 minutes were terrible. We'll lose a game like that if we play a good team.

Look at the context - there's no way Bud/Pop would manage the last two mins like that against a good team. He knew we had the game.

Yep, and that is a legit concern as well. They did the same thing VS the Hornets. Good win yes, but man that last few mins was pathetic.

Great game from Blair. Technical for hanging on the rim? Some of the refs calls were very questionable.

Can someone get a screen cap of that moment in the 4th where Cuban was scowling with the score displayed underneath? He looked like Animal from the Muppets.

Yeah I didn't even get to see him, so I'm not sure of the situation. Still looks funny on the stats sheet, tho.

Just checked the boxscore after coming back from work. So weird! Blair seemed to be the monster again like his rookie season, and must be exta-motivated after his replacement, Baynes, officially played. What about all the talks about his inability to jump or run anymore, and his lack of competitiveness that was so heatedly debated in this forum not too long ago.
Can't wait for timvp's analysis of the game to figure things out.

Seemed not much to take from the Bayne's poor stats in his debut. The bench seemed to suck as a whole.

What situation? Up 13 with 54 seconds to play? If not then, when?

The Mavs had outscored the spurs 25-39 points in the 4th qtr and were pressuring the spurs to cough up the ball...which happend with the Baynes inbound to Neal....not an ideal situation to put a rookie into. Infact the Mavs were smelling blood in the 4th to see that 20+ point lead dwindle down. The Spurs turned the ball over 3 times in the last 42 seconds which let Dallas get to within 4 points 107-111 with 2.6 remaining.
And Baynes checked in with 42 to play not 54. Dude has not played an NBA game in his life!!!!
When? how about when we are blowing a team out and they have already layed down to die..... Mavs hadnt taken their last breath....scoring 8 points in 19 seconds.
Thats my view anyways. You are entitled to yours.

Your argument is as ridiculous as Carlisle pretending it is possible to come back down a gazillion points with under a minute to go, and telling his guys to foul with 2.2 seconds left down 4. And your math sucks too because Baynes logged 42 minutes but was pulled with 8 to go, so next time watch the game instead of just looking at the box score.

Doubtful, it looked like more of a glancing blow. And he didn't hit his head on the court. He also didn't seem groggy once he got up. I think it's just a cut, but we'll have to wait for official word.
Maybe, but unlikely. Forehead gashes are hard to stitch, I'd say that's all it is.
Thx guys, sorry for late reply. Glad that TP seems to be okay. :)

On another note - in your sig did the Houston mascot get his ass kicked after tray slamming that faker fan? or was it a set up?
