What this game showed today, however, is that this team has great potential once they are healthy and have had time to develop real chemistry with one another. D12 is still not in true form and both Hill and Blake are out (two major bench players). It remains to be seen if Kobe can keep up this kind of quarterbacking, but so long as they keep winning I don't see him reverting back to chuck mode anytime soon. The Lakers should be able to re-sign him on the cheap this offseason. Everyone knows the Lakers need to start developing and retaining young talent.
