View Full Version : Pelicans: Pelicans vs Grizzlies
Pelicans up 6-4, Grizzlies 0 for their last 6 FGAs.
Vasquez just threw a lob to Aminu :wow
Austin Rivers may be the reason the Pelicans blow this season tbh. Anderson stepped up, Vasquez stepped up, even Aminu and Lopez stepped up.
lol the Grizzlies left Anderson wide open on two straight possessions

The Grizzlies' usual terrible 3 point defense are the only reasons the Hornets are in this game.

I still don't understand how Rivers is an NBA player. Doc surely isn't reason enough

How does a team 2nd in Defensive Rating rank 14th in 3 point defense? :wow

How many times are the Grizzlies going to foul Jason Smith on a jumpshot? Jeez.

Around the same time the Spurs leave him open on the pick and pop tbh
Rivers taking a charge was probably the best play he had this game

I'm shocked that they're even in the middle of the pack in that department because the Grizzlies are willing to leave anyone wide open. Even the likes of Steph Curry are left open on multiple occasions against the Grizzlies defense. It's been a problem for years. That's why I thought the Spurs would kill the Grizzlies 2 seasons ago in the playoffs. The Grizz can't trade 2s for 3s against the Spurs.

Jason Smith killing the Grizzlies again.

The Spurs blew their load early in the season back then and Manu (Spurs season MVP that season) was playing with one arm. Of course Jefferson choked, Green wasn't a rotation player and Neal blew outside the game winner in Game 5.
Also Jason Smith. :wow

The best defense the Grizz have played on Anderson and he hits the fadeaway 3.

Another terrible 4th quarter does in the Grizzlies.
Also, what happened to Conley? He only played 4 minutes

Rudy Gay's last 5 games which includes this game.
6-19 16 points
7-22 14 points
3-11 12 points
5-13 11 points
today right now: 3-17 10 points
I am really rooting for Rudy Gay to do well because we can't trade him if he sucks.
Getting outplayed by the likes of Jimmy Butler and Aminu isn't going to help his trade value.

Rudy needs to be traded it's clear he does not want to play for the Grizz
