The media was ripping the Lakers to shreds so Kirby had to shut them up momentarily...

He has the two best bigs in the league on his team. It's not that hard to pass them the ball. He's just never done it until the last two games. We'll see if it continues.
Does it not bother you Laker fans that this fool has played one-on-five for 17 straight years - right up until the last two games?

Kobe's always had that in his game. Fortunately for the rest of the league, he spent the first half of this season mindlessly chucking instead of taking advantage of the amazing talent around him. It was like he thought it was still 2006 and he needed to shoot 20+ times a game no matter what -- even though the Lakers are stacked at each position. His first half of the season was one of the most stubborn, chemistry-killing stretches of basketball a superstar has ever played ... and it was only camouflaged from the masses because his FG% remained decent.
For the league's sake, hopefully Kobe goes back to the chucking because if he plays team ball, the Lakers still have as much talent as any team in the league, tbh.

Kobe handles the ball really well for a SG tbh. I think 6th seed is their ceiling.

passes when necessary.. sometimes offense becomes stagnant and he has to start firing

TBH, 6 would be nice, getting is the the concern at the moment.

Eventaully Kobe will come back to earth and be like fuck this isn't this why we brought Nash lol . You can't win playoff games with Kobe taking 20 or more shots IJS

Dude has 3 HOF players on his team and a few decent shooters, I could get 14 assists playing with them

I have nothing against the Lakers, but remember Lakers fans, the team WILL lose games, let’s see what happens then.
I like that you have hope again, but take it easy, hope comes with disappointment.

Timvp nails it tbh. Kobe always had this in his game. You can see plenty of these during their 3 peat run. It was after Shaq left where Kobe prety much decided he's going to score 90% of the time/
