I wouldn't consider soaking your triceps in deer piss to be cheating, tbh. Stupid, but not cheating.

Gonna be awful hard to punish him!

It's crazy how ESPN is treating this. On Around the Horn, everyone was like, "He's guilty, because no one would lie about this. The fact that he hasn't tested positive for the substance even though he's supposedly been taking it for two years now doesn't matter because he could have just beaten the system." And I think JA Adande had the nerve to say Lewis shouldn't go to ESPN after he retires because he doesn't have the integrity necessary to keep up the networks' high standards.

I have no idea if he took the substance in question, or if the substance he took even had the banned drug in it. (From what I've read, it most likely doesn't and the company that sells the product is lying about it.) But it's absurd that a national news station would have the gall to think that saying "no comment" to a thus-so-far unsubstantiated report (and one that has been rehashed from two years ago at that) is the same thing as, "dodging the question."

As the guys on PTI said, it's not like there's much the NFL can do. If they suspend him from the Super Bowl, he'll appeal and get to play anyways. He's retiring afterwards, so he's basically in a win/win situation. Plus, reportedly, he's come back clean on all of his drug tests.

The NFL doesn't really give a shit about steroids.

He probably passed a pregnancy test.

Sons, it just shows the passion that Ray Ray has for this game, that he's willing to spray gross deer shit all over himself in order to get to play again... :lol

Its hilarious that people are getting all up in arms over this shit. People like myself who work out and take supplements know that this garbage does nothing. Shit was debunked in the late 90s for crying out loud.

Basically the guy probably had a clueless "guru" designing a supplement regimen for him since he got way into health and taking supplements (http://www.twoscoopsgethuge.com/post/16016144849/50-pills-a-day-ray-lewis-is-a-supplement-savage) and he gave him this worthless garbage and now he's in trouble for taking a placebo pill basically

It still contains something on the banned list. Got it? If he did take it, it was against the rules.

It's actually possible that it doesn't. Apparently, the chemical in deer antlers and the banned substance are related by not necessary the same. In any event, there have been reports from manufacturers that the spray in question probably doesn't even contain the drug that it's advertised to.

It's funny listening to the media act like this is a steroid or ped of some sort.....it's the equivalent of going down to GNC and buying some liquid creatine.....shit doesn't do much of anything and it sure as hell doesn't give anyone an unfair advantage.

Having said that, I prefer nfl players to be juiced up freaks.....it makes the game more entertaining and doesn't hurt me or my family at all.

nothing new under the sun, every player in the NFL takes forbidden substances, that is really nothing to complain about.

I don't care about what he did, but the fact that he can't just say "no i didn't take anything banned" is so goddamn annoying. He has to go on these fucking drama queen sanctimonious rants about it. Fuck that phony piece of shit.

Something that doesn't work (http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=151488973) and something you can buy at GNC: http://m.gnc.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=11233096

It's not like he got some shit smuggled in through Mexico off thd black market.

Using a banned substance caused Ray to get a torn triceps in the first place.

The NFL doesn't test for this drug so it is irrelevant.

If anyone saw Ross' press conference, they'd have a hard time believing this story. He pretty much did nothing besides try to implicate Favre and name drop. According to him, God sent him to NFL teams to try to spread his magic -- I'm not making that up. He's actually out-Lewising Ray on the whole God thing.
