Someone actually wants this POS to be on their team? How about they just donate $500k to me and I'll paint myself black and sit on the bench for either team all season

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat are currently the favorites to sign Greg Oden. The Boston Celtics have also expressed interest in Oden, but sources say Oden is leaning towards signing with either the Cavaliers or Heat.
Oden is hoping to meet with Pat Riley and the Heat in Miami next week.
Oden hasn't played since December of 2009.

Stupid. 2 games and sits the rest of the season due to injury.

TBH, I'd like him in the Spurs if we had a spot.

Just in case, you know, he actually stays healthy.

Only team he might stay healthy with is Phoenix. I'd :lol if he went to Miami; that place is a haven for washed up cockmasters to try and win a ring. Pretty soon it's going to be Lebron and 11 cripples.

Cavs makes sense they lost vetejao, and bottom of the east sucks too much pressure in MIA ...plus he would clog heat driving lanes. Heat need a more mobile big tbh ..

He should go play with Uncle Drew tbh.

Lebron and Oden at the same team. How about that.

Imagine if he ended up staying healthy and averaged 20, 12, and 3 blocks like how he was hyped up to be.

if he could be had for minimum then i wouldn't call it a bad signing tbh. if he fails to stay fit then it costs basically nothing to waive his ass, and it would be a real bargain if he turns out to be a decent player tbh. the venture/profit ratio would be perfect

Is he willing to play for minimum?

if he's to sign with boston or miami right now im guessing neither team is gonna afford to give him anything more than a minimum tbh

About the same risk as signing some high schooler who can jump out of the gym on the off chance that his basketball IQ will magically raise itself 30 points. If you buy the story that half of his health issues were the result of Blazers' medical staff foul ups and that he's been rehabbing with his own docs this time that could be worth a pro-rated min. contract

Oden will never stay healthy, it's virtually impossible IMO, but it's still with the risk..he's a massive dude with ridiculous strength, and even with all the injuries, he's probably still more athletic than most big men..even if he was a bench big man that could block a few shots and grab rebounds in situational minutes, he could still make a difference..

Playing with Lebron should also boost his morale, tbh..

It's worth the risk, even though he probably won't stay healthy for very long..

:lol I guess I'd be fine with this. He is a lock to get hurt again, but he can be part of the dynasty in Miami.

Not sure why the Suns aren't taking this risk as they have nothing to lose and also have the only training staff that can figure this out.

Oden should be clamoring for Phoenix, tbh

too early to write him off when he's still relatively young, despite him looking old though. bynum also had a lot of injuries through these years and monkeyball also missed an entire season in his 1st year in NBA. oden's health situation has supposedly improved alot since he's out of portland.
