Even though it wa against the God awful bobcats, Baynes looked good tonight. Needs more PT. Let's see if he can do it against some decent comp now.
Got a few more days off before the next game, so with some more practice time he should be even more familiar with Spurs sets.

BANE!!! obviouly has a lot of work to do to learn the system at both ends, but the physical talent is there. He'll be a really solid role player in a year or two. :tu

Good game. Hope Baynes doesn't receive the Splitter treatment tbh, he should take Bonner minutes
Bonner is only used occasionally for spacing these days. BANE!!! can't space, so you can't really compare the two, they'll be used in different situations.

Those Suns jerseys are sweet.
Great debut by Aron tonight all things considered.

Bonner is no longer in the rotation anyway. This season has proved that.

Yeah baynes did great even if he s totaly lost on the floor, he gonna need some time to learn all systems but he ll be a great defensive asset in near futur a think, he brings some pounds that we needed in the paint

Time to pack Neal, Bonner, Blair or even SJax for a PG/SG.

Spurs should trade someone. They have a lot of players that can play. No reason keeping them all, choose some and trade some.

That would be the plan except that the team cannot stay healthy.
I don't see why they shouldn't keep the roster intact, especially in light of the fact that knowing the system is imperative in gaining postseason success.

Splitter has the bball iq to play with Baynes without congestioning the lane. Duncan-Splitter/Duncan-Baynes/Baynes-Splitter.

don't see the logic there, we have too much good player it can't work just trade some to bring some bad ones in

Bonner is averaging 19 minutes/game in the last 5 games.

Who all thinks that listing both Blair and Bonner having the exact same mystery ailment at the last moment "RIGHT KNEE EFFUSION" (must be contagious) was a little jabat Stern from Pop on his first game back.

Cant argue with that...I mean, thats always the case.
I would take Bonner-Blair-XX and try to move them. Its not like those players are going to affect the entire team. Their effect is minimum, especially if they are not playing.

I was hoping Pop would say, when asked about him being coach of the Western Conference all-stars during his postgame interview, that he was going to rest Tim and Tony during the ASG. :lol

Wish I watched the game(Still haven't seen Baynes play yet). Baynes did good this game, would love for him to keep his rebounding around that. Always glad to see Kawhi do good.
But does anyone know if Danny Green was doing something different this game? His shooting percentage for this game is nice. Did he join team New Balance...:lol
Anyways, glad we dominated.

Well done to Big Bobcat Baynes. Bogut and Baynes in London probably would have been good for a bronze medal.

Trade them for what? Someone who can't play? Do you have any specific ,realistic, trades that someone else might be interested in and that might improve the Spurs? No, just choose some and make a trade. Brilliant.

Looking forward to the next game against the Wizards.
It's already a mismatch obviously. Washington just isn't very good. But to make things worse, they're hitting us, at home, on the second night of a road back-to-back, and during a just murderous patch.
1 February @ Memphis
2 February @ San Antonio
4 Februrary vs. LA Clippers
6 February vs. New York
8 February vs. Brooklyn
Ouch.

Trade them for what?
Usually teams trade for other players.
Someone who can't play?
Usually teams trade for players they can use, sometimes money is also involved (You can Wiki the salary rules, if you have doubts I can help you)
Do you have any specific ,realistic, trades that someone else might be interested in and that might improve the Spurs?
I don't have, its not my job.
No, just choose some and make a trade. Brilliant.
See above...
Glad that I can help you answer you questions.

Baynes is definitely not 6"10". Timmy might be slouching in that picture, but Baynes still looks a couple inches taller.
