Just sensible. His labrum is already separating/separated from the bone. Playing in this game could leave him looking like the Black Knight after the fight with Arthur.

Tbh, it's a little suspicious that Dwight's shoulder injury only acts up during Laker losses....

Pekovic might not be all that athletic, but that guy is a 290-300 lbs of pure body mass & tough MFer (considering his nation is a genocide champ in the balkan), so Dwight action is understandable.

Nah, they were winning when he went down. Had he not gotten hurt they would have won against the Suns.

Like I said, shut him down for the year. Even when he played they accumulated Ls like no other team with this much talent (on paper) in NBA history. Perceptions of several legacies on this Laker team will be reconsidered after this season and rightfully so tbh. Especially if they don't make the playoffs. Seems like a real possibility right now (see my sig).

This is what always disappointed me about Hedo Turkoglu. His nation is the genocide champ of all genocide champs, yet he plays like a jump shooting fairy.

True, though i think Ottoman empire is more than just one nation as a whole.

Dwight Howard flying home for nonsurgical PRP procedure

The Lakers announced on Friday that Dwight Howard will travel back to Los Angeles on Friday to undergo a "PRP procedure" on Saturday.

PRP is short for "platelet rich plasma." Howard will first have some of his own blood removed and spun in a centrifuge.

The resulting plasma, which contains a high dose of Howard's own platelets to promote healing, will be injected into his shoulder.

Howard will miss the Lakers' visit to the Minnesota Timberwolves but will fly out to rejoin the team in Detroit.

Luckily for him this is not cycling and "blood doping" is legal.

Dwight just scared his "post moves" would be exposed by a real low post big per par.

That's what Kobe had done on his knee in Germany a few seasons ago. I didn't think it was approved in the US yet, but apparently it is.
