I guess this means Baynes will stay with the Toros at least long enough to not play in this game

I wonder if Ginobili is out another 10-14 days or if they're just being cautious since there's another big break after this game . . .

I think it's them being cautious. If it was pretty serious, CJ would have been recalled already.

With the top record in the league and Tim coming back, I'm pretty sure Pop is just going to sit Manu out for a few games, much to Manu's displeasure. It's not a bad thing to do, seeing you don't want that hammy to become a chronic issue.

If this would be the playoffs, he would probably play... but there's no hurry now.

Probably that. In interviews, Manu said he didn't pull it, it just tightened up.

Glad Manu is getting some rest. Will miss seeing him tonight though, as my wife and I are going to the game. Always exciting!!

My guess is he'll play Wed at Minnesota, albeit limited minutes, but there's no way Pop will play him both ends of a b2b the rest of the season, and probably Duncan either. Maybe split them up? I think there's only five of those the rest of the season anyway.

It's the dog days, folks. The Spurs are on cruise control.

Let's not overreact.

Back to backs aren't going to hurt him. With a hamstring, you want to make sure it's completely healed, but once it's healed, you're fine.

In Tony Parker's shootaround video, he didn't seem too concerned about Manu. In fact, he was surprised he wasn't going to play tonight. He speculated that Pop was just holding him out due to the upcoming rest.

So, yeah, sounds like nothing much is wrong with Manu.
