It came with the Nexus 4 lock clock (when it was on 4.1)

So I can replace since it seems to be widget based?

even CM10, wifi, data and BT not working, so useless, tbh.

The Only issue is I don't think many people own the X+ (since many bought the X), so there's likely to be less support for it. Ah well I'll wait and see by spring.

Not necessarily. Most of the apps I used to build my screen did not require root. Bits Pro does tho.
Some advanced features of launchers *might* require root.

Touchwiz does a terrible job of managing space on a screen. I can add additional rows/columns with Nova Launcher, and can even re size widgets (which is what I did on my home screen for the Flipboard widget).

You have to save the icon after you design it, then long press** on the screen and select widgets (I know, it's not a widget). Then select simple text, 1x1. Then select the icon you saved. When you get to this step, you'll see the launch options as well to pick the app to launch.


**Might not have to long press...I dunno what launcher you're running and what OS. Just do whatever you do to place a widget on the screen. lol

I use the same pic for both the lockscreen and the homescreen, simple The Frigetheners poster with inverted color because I like to have plenty of icons on the homescreen and anything but mostly black pics suck. Not sure how to capture the lockscreen but it's the same pic with the connect the dots.

Apex used to be real smooth on my S2, while Nova had minor/occasional hiccups (this was a year ago). However, it's consistent stutter when scrolling through home screens or the app drawer. Probably has to do with the fact that 850MB of my fucking RAM is being used. Officially hate Sense now, and can't wait for CM10 to be completed on my phone.

The original One X (international and AT&T) both got it eventually AFAIK. I'm guessing the One X+ didn't sell so much considering it came only 6 months after the One X.

The international One X+ has more devs, so they have CM10.1. That only leaves the AT&T/telus One X+. They just started on CM10 for my phone this week.
