Clips look fucking dead.

Even with Paul this team wont be the same imo. Their confidence is shot.

Paul has some work to do when he comes back.

Meh.... with Blake out tonight, this was a loss from the start... I'm surprised the Clipps kept it close for most of the game without Griffin, Paul, AND Chauncey....

Happily, CP3 and Chaunce are both doing full practices now and are expected to be back soon...

Couldn't be farther from the truth - this game and last, the players could have just packed it in and folded from the opening tip, but they battled back and kept it close....

Vinny's putrid non-coaching is literally the only reason we're losing these games, besides injuries of course.... once CP3 comes back and gets back into the swing of things, the team will be back in top form again, as CP3 clearly just ignores Vinny's shit and does all the actual coaching on the court...

VDN showing why he's a horrible coach tbh. I understand the Wizards are actually a different team and are playing close to 500 since Wall came back, but with the talent the Clippers has, they should not be losing these many games.

They look like a lottery team out there tbh, 3-7 in their last 10 games.

I think you're using the injury card abit too much.

Sure it will hurt you not having your best player out in the court at any given games but to lose to sub-par teams, even without Paul or Blake should not be a problem with the guys your team has.

No real excuse to lose this way.

You say Clippers have the deepest bench in the league yet they cant even beat the likes of Wizards, Toronto, Phoenix and so on.

The Clippers really have been losing to very bad teams this year as a whole tbh.

Everyone needs an excuse to say why their team sucks and whatever but to say its solely because of injury is a weak one.

Other teams have coaches.... CP3 is our coach, take him off the court and the offense and defense crumble to pieces because Vinny has no clue...

If this were the Heat and LeBron and Wade ended up missing significant time, they'd be just as bad because Spoelstra's just as big an idiot - doesn't mean they're a bad team, just a poorly-coached one....

Well Spurs did only beat them by 2....without Paul or Dwight.

Fact is they beat them.

The Heat beat the Spurs scrubs in the end because the Heat superstars can execute down the stretch whereas the Spurs scrubs can't on their own.

Similarly the full strength or near full strength Spurs beat the Lakers twice because those Spurs can execute down the stretch whereas the Lakers cannot.

Wizards just get severely underestimated by some teams.

Chris Paul's out

Clipper Nation
02-05-2013, 01:34 AM
Like I've already explained to the haters, CP3's injury shuffled all the rotations and suddenly changed everyone's roles, tbh.... Vinny, being an idiot, doesn't get this and continues to run the "bail me out, Chris" offense without CP3, hence the losses.... people trying to make this about the roster don't know jack shit, since names are only half the battle - a great roster has chemistry and defined roles.... when that gets thrown out of balance suddenly, the team will look worse....

This team was at its best when the Tribe were all actually coming off the bench together.... Bledsoe has been great in a backup, sparkplug role, the rest of the bench fed off his energy.... him being forced into the starting lineup, as well as other things like Barnes' suspension, have put that chemistry on hold temporarily, and it shouldn't be a surprise that a team will struggle when the coach can't play his most productive units and has no clue how to adjust....
