I don't know much about NFL and US Football (actually I don't know anything). So I was wondering why is it so difficult to reach the SB twice in a row? It seems everything changes from one year to another...

Unlike NBA and MLB, the NFL Playoffs are one game, single elimination, and there are many good teams that are capable of getting hot and winning it all. Also, it's hard to keep millionaires motivated and putting the work in after winning a Super Bowl.

Also, the salary cap makes it difficult to keep championship teams together for very long.... that being said, it's better than the alternative of a select few teams buying all the best players....
