Doubtful, I think he's always going to make his teammates better, therefore as long as Pop is there, he's starting. He'll beat people with his brain, rather than his skills.

False. If he ever has to come off of the bench, he stayed in the NBA too long.

False. He'd retire before that one would hope..

Way I see it is as long as TD is playing he'll be a double double or close to double double machine with 1.5-2.5 blocks per game. I don't see a guy with that kind of production coming off the bench, especially with the lack of quality bigs in the NBA today.

False. After this year, Tim has 1... MAYBE 2 seasons left. He's still easily starting material at that point. Dude has probably been the best big in the NBA this season.

You can only play basketball professionally for so long, and your career ends at a relatively young age when compared to almost any other career. Even at league minimum you make more money than the president. Duncan's said in the past that he'll play until the wheels come off. If I had the chance to play pro ball, I'd do it until I couldn't make a roster. It wouldn't bother me to see Duncan playing like Robert Parrish when he's 43. I imagine he'll play until his body tells him it's time to quit, not when fans or sports writers do.

Tim's contract is probably the last he'll ever sign, and it very accurately represents his intentions. 2 year deal (this season and next) with 3rd year being player option (he wants to think on it). Even if he comes back for the 3rd season, I don't see him playing beyond that.

He won't come off the bench, but he'll play bench minutes (20-25mpg) if we can get someone to help he and Tiago down low

I'm pretty sure he's already done it. Wasn't there a couple of games 2 or 3 years back where he came off the bench when coming back from an injury (IIRC, one of them was a game against the 76ers).

After the end of his contract year, should he re-sign for one more year. Only then, I want to say true, but anything's possible.

False. He doesn't want to sit between Bonner and Blair.

Negative. Duncan will retire before his skills/body diminish to the point that he's a bench player. Way I see it, next year will be Duncan's last. Which makes it all the more imperative to go all in on this season.

False. He'll either retire or his body will disintegrate before he's not good enough to start lol

It was against the Raptors, I was at that game.

The whole game felt awkward because Tim didn't enter the come in until the second quarter :lol

I hope Timmy can retire after a championship season just like The Admiral.
