The back porch was converted into the kid's bathroom & was unheated so in the winter we had to run in & fill up the tub before running back in to jump in the tub..we could see our breath it was so cold. My younger bro & I wore my older brother's old socks & 1 yr my mom had to buy my older bro Christmas gifts 2 wks later because she didn't have enuff $. We spent our wkends in Elem school rolling the Recorder so my mom could go throw/deliver it & then picking up alum cans @ Brack Park.
