Splitter had a big bag of ice on his left ankle after the game. "It's painful right now, but we'll see tomorrow how it feels," he said

If he could play big minutes after it then it cant be that bad
he can sit out the cleveland game if parker is in and get a week rest

The good thing about Pop chiding Tiago about his injuries early in his Spurs career is that Tiago now doesn't dare go out of a game even when just about every other player would. Twist an ankle, fall wrong, take an elbow, etc ... Tiago doesn't even glance at Pop and stays in :lol

The way he played through it, it cannot be anything serious ... ankle will swell overnight, but he should be good to go ...

Since Cleveland game doesnt matter at all, and Spurs won in Chicago in full tank mode, so Pop can easilly try to win another game in full tank mode. Outside Irving, whole Cavaliers team isnt better than Spurs 2nd string lineup.

At worst, sit him for the Cavs game, which would give him 8 days to recover with the all-star break. Pop could even try to see if a lineup featuring Cory Joseph, coach Bud, the coyote and a couple of silver dancers could win the game agaisnt Cleveland.

This line-up would have won @GS last season, the last game, when they were tanking shamlessly to keep their pick. :lol

Turned it in the first quarter, didn't look too bad...Or maybe he just didn't want to sit through 3 quarters of watching the short and low towers? One can only take so much pain.

Should sit him for Cavs and milk one more heavy minute game outta Blair.

Now there's a game worth the price of admission.

Cleveland did beat OKC recently :lol

But I know what you mean bud. Still, Kyrie is a beast and can single handedly make a game very difficult for the opposition.

Looked nasty to me, I was surprised to see him back out there after the time out.

Yup, sit him and let him fly back to Europe for a few days to take an extended siesta.

I am not sold we can win against Cleveland this easily ... the Bulls and their style of play played right into the hands of our second string players ... Cavs are more athletic and will play more like the Pistons

At the all-star break, Diaw will be the only Spur to play every game.
It must be Boris' conditioning.

:lol Never thought that I'd see that sentence before I died...

But in all seriousness, Boris was a great pick-up by the FO - he's fit right into the system and definitely delivered.

Boris, fat bouncy ass, could drop 30 or 40 pounds, since really doesn't use his fat to block out.
