Him and Hayward are probably the best perimeter players on that squad...

TBH if the Jazz managed to match up with the Thunderefs in the first round it would be great for the rest of the West. It would be the only playoff matchup in the conference with OKC that would have a chance of even officiating. Could go 6 or 7.

Obviously I don't watch all their games but whenever I do see OKC, I thank my lucky stars they traded Harden. Martin may be a better shooter, but that's all he is. Memories of Harden penetrating and euro stepping in the lane still give me nightmares.

Neither Durant or Westbrook scare me as much as Harden did with the ball in their hands. Especially Westbrook.

Utah sure won't trade either Jefferson or Millsap if they have any post season aspiration this year, they'll gonna get at best some low end picks for these guys, i don't know that will be worthy enough against yet another play off berth (and busting Lakers playoff hope in the process, lol).

Lets be honest, the Jazz aren't winning a championship. Jefferson will be gone in the summer, better to get something for him now than lose him for nothing. He will be seamlessly replaced by Favors and Kanter getting more minutes.

Yeah, both Durant & Chimpbrick play well enough offensively tonite to get it done, especially since Utah back court play is totally sucking and the refs are tilting more & more to the Thunderefs case than the mountain mormon minority case as the game goes by.

Richie
02-12-2013, 10:53 PM
Does anyone have the figures on how a player gets to the line? I swear hardly any of Durants free throws are from drives to the basket.

To be fair, Durant is excellent at drawing a foul when a defender plays him too close. He also gets a number of soft calls when defenders try to play physical with him off the ball.

I dunno, i see the Utah fans are more into "honorable playoff achievement year in & out" rather than "championship or nothing" crowd, and the FO might value getting into the playoff (though having no real shot at all to be numero uno) more rather than maximizing their future build up. They're only planning of releasing one of those two big men, and the best they can get might only be a low 1st rounder, i don't think they will think it's worth it of missing another playoff contention. It's still a business anyway.
