For example, it was nice to hear him say well I lack creativity for a dunk contest ...I thought he was being genuine and wondered about that myself. But I would want (or wish) that he would of done it just to challenge himself. Sure it's just a contest but to put his stamp on one ...would of MEANT something even if he lost, just taking the challenge. He seems like he really does appreciate the history of the game ... why not breathe some life in a floundering contest?

As for the ASG I cant believe folks are trying to spin this... there is no need. If you feel he was coasting than fine, he shrank from a challenge because it was clear Bryant was calling him out...if you concede that he did try and fail ...should that undo a whole season of dominant play?
